Review
Even though, I haven’t experienced loss of a loved one yet , I was truly humbled reading her book- her words so simple but yet so powerful and soothing . Salatu Sule includes so many verses from the Holy Quran and Hadith , that helped her through this journey of grief . The book offers faith inspired insights about grief and how to build resilience (LetsLearnMama)
Each chapter is very brief, it’s like reading a diary or a long Facebook status, filled with life lessons with relevant verses and hadith (sugarspicewhatevernice)
“One Breath at a Time” by Sister Salatu Sule is a very good read. The challenges of life, the reality, the losses and the way forward! Well written. Maa shaa Allah Tabarakallah I’d recommend it for one and all. Simple, short, well written and beneficial.

One Breath at a Time may be a teeny tiny thing, but it sure does pack a punch! A book about coping with grief and adversity. You might think you don’t need this book because you’ve never lost a loved one or been through a divorce or suffered a life-changing Illness etc, but we all go through testing times and we all try to cope with life’s happenings however we can. This book shows you how to draw on faith for strength and I particularly enjoyed the author’s references to Quranic verses at certain times in her life – it’s clear she’s built a relationship with it to connect so powerfully. We need to be able to do that! (AsmaScribendi)

Being a teenager is not an easy business. You’re told you are “too young” to do half the things you want to do; your mother is always asking you to tidy your room: your father is always reminding you to pray; your younger sister is annoying you when all you want is some PEACE AND QUIET … You are not sure if it’s everyone else that is going mad or you.
Luckily, Ruqaiyyah Waris Maqsood in on hand. Having a wealth of experience as a teacher and an ‘agony aunt’, she understands the minefields that are the teenage years. This book is a light-hearted, humorous, but above all, sympathetic pointer to coping with teenage life as a Muslim.

All of the love stories in the Qur’an have the connotations of birr: protection, qawwam, endearment, sacrifice, acceptance, allowing redemption and return after sin, opening what others closed and uplifting those who others pushed down. They are the opposite of what is conventional, the oxymoron of the sinfulness that others display, and the righteous rain of barakah into the heart and mind of those who are distant from Allah (s.w.t.).

They include prayer (Ṣalāh), which is depicted as a means of communication with Allah that purifies the soul and deters from indecency; almsgiving (Zakāh), which is presented as a way to purify one’s wealth and soul from miserliness; fasting (Ṣawm), portrayed as a shield against sin fostering self-discipline and gratitude; and pilgrimage (Ḥajj), described as an ultimate act of submission and humility symbolizing the believer’s migration towards Allah. Each act of worship is shown to have unique spiritual benefits and effects, purifying and elevating the believer. Tradesmen look at buildings differently, depending on their trade: The carpenter casts an eye on the woodwork, the bricklayer on the brickwork and the painter on the walls and ceilings. Similarly, the greater a person’s perception of Allah’s names, the greater their alertness and understanding of life. Nothing passes them by, without thought and contemplation. When they see a display of mercy, they automatically and very naturally reflect on the names of Allah; Al-Rahim” (The Most Merciful), Al-Ra’uf (The Pitying), Al-Wadud (The Affectionate). When they sense might and awe, they are overcome with the names “Al-Jabbar” (The Compeller), “Al-Muntaqim” (The Avenger) and “Al-Qahhar” (The Subduer). Eventually, they reach a station where every scene that unfolds, any sin which presents itself or any opportunity that drifts by, becomes a trigger for perusal and the remembrance of Allah, the achievement of which is precisely the objective of this book.
This set features 25 flashcards showcasing Prophets in Islam, designed for educational purposes. Each card includes text in both English and The Arabic Names, making them ideal for homeschooling and religious study.

EBRAHIM ISMAIL PANDOR (MOULANA)
"I commend Moulana Obeidullah Bhoja for this valuable contribution and for the effort put into ensuring the legacy of these great scholars is not forgotten. This book will serve as an invaluable resource for future generations, encouraging them to continue the work of these revered Ulama, and to uphold the values of truth, knowledge, and service to humanity. May Allah grant the scholars featured in this book a place in Jannah, and may He accept their efforts as an eternal Sadaqah Jaariyah. May this book inspire us all to live our lives in a manner that honours their memories and continues the path of knowledge and righteousness they so selflessly traversed."
SULAIMAN RAVAT (MOULANA)
"Ulama are central to the prosperity of any Muslim community. Whilst the services of more prominent scholars get some recognition, there are multitudes of selfless Ulama who have dedicated their lives to serving their communities with distinction and great sacrifice and whose efforts have largely gone unrecognised. It is for this reason that the Management of Radio Islam responded very positively to Moulana Obedullah Bhoja."
OBEIDULLAH BHOJA (MOULANA)
"This book stands as a humble tribute to their lives and legacies, which have been shared on Radio Islam's Ulama Profile Program.
Through these profiles, we seek not only to honour their memory but to ensure that the profound impact they had on their students, their families, and their communities is never forgotten."
