Daily supplications (du’as) divided into seven days, for each day of the week.
The universally accepted traditional prayers have a status beyond compare because the prayers which Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala has revealed, either in the Qur’an or by inspiring them as a direct, first person communication from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, or by a hidden revelation, spoken by the Beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) or taught to some of his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), are by definition more acceptable to Allah: Hence this collection of’ prayers compiled by ‘Ali ibn Sultaan Muhammad al-Qari (d.1014/1605), popularly known as Mullah ‘Ali al-Qari. Mullah Ali Qari has said in his preface that if you read this compilation daily, it is very good. If that is not possible, then it should be read weekly, or monthly, or even once a year; and if even that is not possible then at least once in a lifetime.

Our intentions for compiling this book are to inspire an increase in love, knowledge, connection and obedience towards the Prophet ﷺ, by the comprehension of the poems through their English translations.
User-friendly text layout and designLittle or no page turning required per qaṣīda or chapter. Allowing readers to have a greater distraction free experience, whilst also making it easier for drum players to play. Due to the layout of the text, all the mentioned content fits into just 199 pages, making it light and usable too.Additionally, stop signs have also been placed at the end of each qaṣīda, choruses are emboldened, and every couplet has been marked with a glyph of alternating lightness and darkness, making it easy to continually jump between chorus and verse.
New, clear English translations in easy to grasp languageWe worked closely with a team of translators to help express the meanings of the qaṣā’id in clear, easy to grasp language. Although no translation will match the original work, these translations should hopefully help the reader get a better sense of what the original author intended.
Designed to be used as a functioning songbookWe wanted to create something that would be used in gatherings, could have notes written on and marked according to the readers preference. Although much care was placed on the cover and internal design, our aim was to create something that readers would want to use and take with them on a daily basis.
Sacred spiritual poetry is intended to soften our hearts and remind us of Allah and His Messenger ﷺ. We have the opportunity through this blessed collection to resemble the Companions who recited poetry directly before our Prophet ﷺ.May Allah Most High place abundant blessings in this endeavour and make it a means for us to experience the reality of the blessed words found in these poems.Shaikh Yaḥyā Rhodus
In a time where people are frantically seeking a spiritual condition through which they can live a peaceful life, the continuous distraction of a fast-paced society, together with a bombardment of technology, social media and the material leads to occupying the hearts and minds of many. The escape route can be found in the Holy Quran and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . However, the best way possible which requires no teaching or explanation is to listen to the poems that have been written and compiled by the scholars over many generations. In these poems are spiritual messages that can uplift the listeners, encouraging personal growth. This collection of varied poems from different regions of the Muslim world are sang and listened to in many gatherings of the scholars and broadcast by most Islamic networks that are listened to today.
It is indeed a fantastic collection with translation and transliteration, for those who understand Arabic and those who don’t.Shaikh Aḥmad Bābikar

This book uses the methodology created by Hafiz Academy to help readers comprehend the Quran's verses. Over the years, Dr. Hafiz Reedwaan Ismail has effectively implemented this innovative visual learning technique. Research shows that the best way to understand words is by visually associating them with what one already knows. With this approach in mind, we have prepared the following surahs to aid the learning and recitation of the Quran.

We live in a time of complexity and uncertainty within modern life. Whilst the overuse of technology and social media has reduced human interaction in families and neighbourhoods, we have also seen an upsurge of empathy and compassion for fellow human beings during times of difficulty and crises. Positive parenting is about raising a child as a better human being and a better citizen. Our parental obligation is to help children grow into mature and confident adults with a positive character and good social and life skills. Preparing for Life is a reminder to, particularly, Muslim parents about their unique and entrusted role in preparing their children for life with universal human and Islamic values.

Complete Arabic Text with Facing English Translation Imam Ghazali’s Bidayat al-Hidaya is a highly motivational manual detailing the fundamentals of acquiring guidance through God-consciousness (taqwa). Imam Ghazali argues that just as there is an end to this noble objective there is also a beginning to it, which must be made firm for one to achieve success. He then goes on to expound the fundamentals of this “beginning.” While being concise and to-the-point the manual is laid out in the form of a detailed daily timetable providing the reader strong inspiration and much heart-rending counsel. The three sections of this book are on obedience, refraining from disobedience, and the etiquette of companionship with the Creator and with creation. One of Imām Ghazālī’s final works, it embodies a lifetime of learning, experience, and spirituality and can be taken as an introduction to his larger works.
This translation published for the first time with facing Arabic text also includes many notes and transliteration for the supplications contained within. “An excellent translation of an important book on the fundamentals of Muslim piety and etiquette. With an accessible English translation alongside the original Arabic text, this introductory work will be useful for readers interested in exploring the realities of Islamic piety, students of Arabic and educators alike.” Jonathan brown University of Washington Dr. Mashhad Al-Allaf holds a doctoral degree in Modern Philosophy: Science & Metaphysics (1995). Review
Even though, I haven’t experienced loss of a loved one yet , I was truly humbled reading her book- her words so simple but yet so powerful and soothing . Salatu Sule includes so many verses from the Holy Quran and Hadith , that helped her through this journey of grief . The book offers faith inspired insights about grief and how to build resilience (LetsLearnMama)
Each chapter is very brief, it’s like reading a diary or a long Facebook status, filled with life lessons with relevant verses and hadith (sugarspicewhatevernice)
“One Breath at a Time” by Sister Salatu Sule is a very good read. The challenges of life, the reality, the losses and the way forward! Well written. Maa shaa Allah Tabarakallah I’d recommend it for one and all. Simple, short, well written and beneficial.

One Breath at a Time may be a teeny tiny thing, but it sure does pack a punch! A book about coping with grief and adversity. You might think you don’t need this book because you’ve never lost a loved one or been through a divorce or suffered a life-changing Illness etc, but we all go through testing times and we all try to cope with life’s happenings however we can. This book shows you how to draw on faith for strength and I particularly enjoyed the author’s references to Quranic verses at certain times in her life – it’s clear she’s built a relationship with it to connect so powerfully. We need to be able to do that! (AsmaScribendi)
About the Author

Islam has been one of the most powerful religious, social, and political forces in history. Over the last 1400 years, from origins in Arabia, a succession of Muslim polities and later empires expanded to control territories and peoples that ultimately stretched from southern France, to East Africa to South East Asia. Yet many of the contributions of Muslim thinkers, scientists, and theologians, not to mention rulers, statesmen and soldiers, have been occluded.
This book rescues from oblivion and neglect some of these personalities and institutions while offering the reader a new narrative of this lost Islamic history. The Umayyads, Abbasids, and Ottomans feature in the story, as do Muslim Spain, the savannah kingdoms of West Africa and the Mughal Empire, along with the later European colonisation of Muslim lands and the development of modern nation-states in the Muslim world.
Throughout, the impact of Islamic belief on scientific advancement, social structures, and cultural development is given due prominence, and the text is complemented by portraits of key personalities, inventions and little known historical nuggets. The history of Islam and of the world's Muslims brings together diverse peoples, geographies, and states, all interwoven into one narrative that begins with Muhammad and continues to this day.
