Learning to Read the Quran
"Knowledge attained in childhood is like an engraving on a stone.
Nabie (Sallallahu-alaihi-wasallam) was a teacher, whose exemplary teaching methodology was unparalleled and will remain so eternally. Such teaching methods were implemented that made learning easy, yet understandable and enjoyable.
Notes from the Author
By using vibrant full-colour illustrations, stimulative exercises, words of encouragement, hand-eye co-ordination skills, visual and perception skills, quiz questions and much more, I have humbly attempted to re-awaken that same spirit of teachings in my publications Learning to Read the Qur'aan - Book 1 and Book 2.
By being pro-active, the learners understand the basic concepts through a variety of multi sensorial activities, thereby developing within the learners the ability to realize their full learning potential. They are thus enlightened with the knowledge and understanding of learning how to read the Qur'aan in a delightful yet enriching manner.
"Alhamdu-lillah, I was blessed with the opportunity to peruse through this book, which I found to be exceptional. Moulana Farouk Saloojee has explored various teaching methodologies in explaining the rules and laws of the Qur'aan in a profound yet simple and easy to understand manner. Insha-Allah, this will make the task of the learner, teacher and parent much easier. The wonderful colour lay-out and stimulating exercises are enriching and appealing to young learners. May Allah Ta'ala accept this magnanimous task and may He make it a means of Hidaayat for the Ummah. Aameen". Moulana Ahmed Chohan (Principal of Madrasah Islaahul Muslimaat - KZN)
"Teaching children how to recite the Qur'aan can sometimes be a great challenge due to the child not being able to grasp some of the elementary concepts. Alhamdu-lillah, Moulana Farouk Saloojee has done a remarkable job in simplifying the elementary steps of learning to recite the Qur'aan. The excellent layout and presentation will insha-allah generate much interest in the child to learn. May Allah Ta'ala accept this effort and make it a means of great benefit to the Ummah. Aameen".
